La Capone

L’A Capone was born Leonard Anderson on September 18, 1996 in the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. He was an up and coming rapper closely associated with Lil Durk? Artist" class="wiki wikinew">? whom has appeared in some of his videos. Just like Chief Keef and Lil Durk, he was a member of the Black Disciples gang, and was often seen in videos with fellow rapper “RondoNumbaNine” and his step brother "Qwap" shoutinrg out “GDK” which is slang for “Gangster Disciples Killer”; Gangster Disciples are rivals of the Black Disciples. His life and rapping career would come to a halt when a gunman approached him and shot him once in the thigh on September 26, 2013 as he made his way to the ER he suffered massive blood loss and died on the operating table; He was only 17 years old at the time he was killed. 3 individuals were charged in connection to the death of L'A Capone in 2014, Sakhee Hardy-Johnson?, 17, Michael Mays, 21, and , Meiko Buchanan, 22.

On September 26, 2013, while leaving the recording studio around 6:00 PM, LA Capone went to look for his ride down the street, as he was walking down an alley near 70th Street and Stony Island Avenue, he was approached by an assailant on foot, and four shots were soon fired, hitting him in his thigh and lower back. Upon hearing of the shooting, Lil Durk, who has been friends with him for more than five years, tweeted his wishes for him to get better, but he would later tweet “RIP Lil Bro” in Capone’s twitter around 8:00PM.

There were many speculations on who killed L'A Capone before his killers were charged, L'A Capone's gang (600) was at war with numerous rival gangs such as the Gangster Disciples, L'A even dissed one of their dead members in his song "Play For Keeps" in which he said “Shondale how the hot sh*t feel." But the gang whom most people believed was behind the murder was 051 Young Money, a Mickey Cobra set. In August 2014, the news came out that 3 individuals were charged with L'A Capone's murder. Sakhee Hardy-Johnson? and Michael Mays, both members of 051 Young Money, were charged with first degree murder, a third individual, Meiko Buchanan whom authorities claim was the driver of a tail car was also charged in connection with L'A Capone's murder. Authorities claim that all three confessed to the crime after being booked.

Cdai

Courtney Ealy allegedly left his cell phone outside of a livery car after he and fellow South Side rapper Clint Massey fatally shot the driver last month near U.S.Cellular Field, authorities said.

Ealy, who raps under the moniker Cdai, was signed to Savage Squad Records in December 2013. Massey raps under the name RondoNumbaNine and his song “Hang Wit Me” has nearly 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Assistant State’s Attorney Glen Runk said Javan Boyd was in his cab waiting for a fare in the 3700 block of South Princeton Avenue on Feb. 22 when three cars drove past.

The first vehicle did a U-turn and pulled up next to Boyd’s car, Runk said. Ealy and Massey allegedly exited the vehicle, went to the passenger side of Boyd’s vehicle and asked if he was from the area.

When Boyd responded that he was from the area Ealy and Massey opened the passenger’s side door and fired multiple shots into the car — striking Boyd, Runk said.

Ealy and Massey then got back into their vehicle and drove off with the two other vehicles, Runk said. Ealy allegedly left his cell phone outside Boyd’s car.

RondoNumbaNine

RondoNumbaNine (Rondo#9)whose real name is Clint Massey is a rap artist from the South Side of Chicago Illinois. Like numerous other rap artists from Chicago, RondoNumbaNine is part of the drill movement. His songs tend to portray his daily life in the violent streets of Chicago. He is a Black Disciples gang member from the 600 set of the gang. In videos of his songs, he can be seen along with his fellow gang members throwing gang signs praising their gang, as well as gang signs disrespecting their enemies. Most of the disrespecting signs tend to be aim at their rivals, the Gangster Disciples which includes artists from Fly Boy Gang(FBG). Unlike many rap beefs that tend to stay on wax, many of the gang beefs from Chicago tend to end in the streets, and there have been numerous rappers whom have been killed, in what authorities believe was the result of gang violence, though the killers are rarely caught. On March 10, 2014 RondoNumbaNine was charged with murder, for the shooting death of RondoNumbaNine and Cdai. " class="wiki wiki_page">Javan Boyd, and the police claimed they have him on tape with another co-defendant committing the crime. On September 26, 2013, RondoNumbaNine’s? friend and fellow 600 member “L’A Capone”, was gunned down while leaving a studio after a recording session, a few hours after the shots were fired, he was pronounced dead. RondoNumbaNine would then go on to release a video in honor of his fallen friend called “Trap Spot”. Like RondoNumbaNine, L’A Capone had just recently started gaining attention, for songs such as “Round Here” and “Play for Keeps” which featured RondoNumbaNine. Some of Rondo's most popular songs include "Trap Spot", "Shooters", "Play for Keeps", as well as numerous others.

On March 10, 2014 it was revealed that RondoNumbaNine was charged with murder and was held on a 2 million dollar bond. Authorities claim RondoNumbaNine is responsible for the brutal murder of Javan Boyd. Boyd, a cab driver, was shot 7 times on February 22, 2014, while waiting for a passenger. According to authorities the murder was caught on tape, and they allegedly have finger print evidence linking Rondo to the crime. Rondo is currently in Cook county jail being held for trial.

CAPO

Capo is a rapper from Chicago, Illinois and is a member of Glory Boyz Entertainment (GBE) (Glo Gang), a rap label owned by Chief Keef and Fredo Santana. Capo has several mixtapes out including “Welcome to Chicago” as well as numerous others. Capo also has numerous music videos on youtube, one of his most popular videos is “Hate Me” featuring Chief Keef. Capo is affiliated with NLMB, a renegade Black P Stone and renegade Gangster Disciples alliance. Capo has a brother name Dooski whom often appears in rap videos by NLMB members such as Lil Herb and Lil Bibb

On July 11, 2015, it was reported that Capo was murdered. Around 1:40 pm Capo was shot in the back and left hip in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue. Capo, 22, was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center and was later pronounced dead. The individuals whom shot Capo ran over and killed a young boy in a stroller in the Woodlawn neighborhood, about 3.5 miles northwest of the shooting. The car was pursued by police, and it was later confirmed that 2 individuals were in custody.

Brandon Dickinson (born July 18, 1994), known by his stage name Lil Bibby, is an American rapper from Chicago,Illinois. He released his debut mixtape in 2013, entitled Free Crack. He released the follow-up mixtape Free Crack 2 on August 29, 2014. Bibby is working on Free Crack 3, which is expected to be released in late 2015.

The Free Crack mixtape was released in 2013. The title of the album was said to have links to Kanye West's track, "Crack Music", which featured on his Late Registration album. Bibby and West are both from Chicago. He also cited Drake and Jadakiss as two of his favorite rappers. Vice stated that the debut mixtape had clear influences from both rappers.^[1]

His debut mixtape features guest appearances from Lil Herb, King L and others. The production is handled by DJ L, Hit-Boy, Black Metaphor, Young Chop, The Olympicks and others.^[2] DJ Scream hosted the mixtape. The mixtape combines a gruff and imposing voice, along with a solid delivery and flow. The tracks are hard-hitting with plenty of bass and strong lyrics from Bibby. One of the standout beats from the mixtape is "Whole Crew", which was produced by Hit-Boy.^[3] There have been released 4 music videos of the mixtape "How We Move" featuring King L, "Change", "Water" and "Tired Of Talkin'".

Following the release of the debut mixtape, Bibby featured in Vibe, which stated he was one of the rappers to watch in 2014. The article complemented Bibby, stating he had what it takes to be a major music artist, due to his maturity and his rapping ability.^[4]

                                Chief  Keef

Keith Cozart (born August 15, 1995),^[1] better known by his stage name Chief Keef, is an American rapper and record producer from Chicago, Illinois. Growing up in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood, Keef began rapping at an early age, and used his mother's karaoke machine and blank tapes to record his music. During his teenage years and while under house arrest, Keef's music videos were met with acclaim from local high school students. His increasing popularity led to him being the subject of a brief bidding war among labels. Ultimately, Keef signed a major record deal with Interscope Records and later signed with 1017 Brick Squad. Keef also became the CEO of his own record label, Glory Boyz Entertainment, which later developed into Glo Gang. His debut album Finally Rich was released on December 18, 2012.

Since becoming famous, Keef has continued to experience ongoing legal issues. These legal issues, accompanied with Keef's notability within Chicago's drill music genre, have caused Keef to gain a gangster-like image, which has been compared with past gangsta rappers, such as 50 Cent. Despite being dropped from Interscope in late 2014, Keef continued self-releasing mixtapes through his Glo Gang label. Although Keef had originally planned Bang 3 to be released as his second album, a then-track from the album, "Nobody", developed into its own project. Keef releasedNobody as a full-length album in December 2014, while continuing to delay the often-pushed back Bang 3.

Young Pappy (born Shaquon Thomas) was a drill rapper from the North Side of Chicago, Illinois. Young Pappy was a member of the Gangster Disciples gang. Some of his most popular songs include Faneto, Homicide, Killa, and Savages among others. On May 29, 2015, Young Pappy was shot to death at the 4800 block of North Kenmore Avenue at about 1:30 a.m. Friday.



On May 29, 2015, Young Pappy was shot twice in the back while standing on North Kenmore Avenue, Pappy was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead; he was 20 years old at the time of his death. Authorities believe the shooting was gang related.

Lil Herb

     Herbert Wright (born October 8, 1995), better known by his stage name Lil Herb and G Herbo, is an American rap music artist from Chicago, Illinois. His debut mixtape, Welcome to Fazoland, was met with critical acclaim. He has collaborated with major artists like Nicki Minaj, Chance The Rapper, and Common. On September 3, 2015 he signed a deal with Cinematic Music Group whilst officially changing his name to G Herbo. His latest project, Ballin' Like I'm Kobewas released on September 28, 2015.

    Lil Herb (G Herbo) grew up in Terror Town, a neighborhood within South Shore, Chicago known for its high levels of violence and gang activity.^[1] He was influenced by artists such as Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Yo Gotti, Meek Mill, Lil Wayne, and Nas.^[2] He is close friends with fellow rapper Lil Bibby, with whom he has collaborated on numerous songs. Both artists are associated with the gang N.L.M.B., which was originally formed from the merger of No Limit, a renegade faction of the Almighty Black P. Stone Nation, and the Muskegon Boyz, a renegade faction of the Gangster Disciples, although the initials N.L.M.B. are also currently used by the gang to signify "Never Leave My Brothers," and "No Limit Muskegon Boys."^[3] Lil Herb, however, has stated that N.L.M.B. is a "brotherhood" rather than a gang

Lil Durk

                                 Durk D. Banks, aka Lil Durk, is a rapper and singer from the Englewood neighborhood of 

Chicago, Illinois' South Side. He started issuing mixtapes through OTF (Only the Family) in August 2011 with I'm a Hitta 

and quickly followed it with I'm Still a Hitta (April 2012) and Life Ain't No Joke (October 2012), the latter of which came 

out just after the typically melodic and kicked-back "L's Anthem," his debut single for Def Jam. The same year, he was 

featured on a string of tracks with fellow Chicago natives and close associates like Lil Reese, Fredo Santana, and Chief 

Keef. "Dis Ain't What U Want," his second Def Jam single, came in May 2013, just before his affiliation with French 

Montana's Coke Boys was made official. His debut album,Remember My Name, followed in 2015 and 

featured Logic, Jeremih, and King Popo as guests.
